When I was a young boy, all I wanted to do is fit in with the rest of the kids in town and at school. I basically just wanted to be like everyone else and not stand out as different.

Be Good to Yourself

It's important for us to remember to be good to ourselves. However, many of us find it hard to do that because we're so busy being good to others and end up forgetting that we need to be good to ourselves as well. Some people think there's no time to think of themselves, but in fact, there is. 

There are indeed benefits when we're good to ourselves including lower stress levels, better mental and physical health, more happiness and thus more ability to be there for others. Stop the Hate

This weeks tragedy at Pulse, a Gay Nightclub in Orlando, saddens me on many levels. It also brings back many of the things I've personally had to deal with and handle as a person and furthermore, as a gay person.

People are speculating and have so many theories and opinions about this tragedy, that can make ones head spin. However, when you think about it on a deeper level, the root cause of this horrible tragedy and many other horrific tragedies and world violence is Hate. We Need More Love and Kindness!

Today's tragic bombings in Belgium are for sure,  a reminder of how precious our lives are and of how short life can be.  It's also a sad reminder that there just isn't enough love and kindness in this world.
