Hello Everyone, what a wonderful time we had in Australia. It was a long trip to get there but boy was it worth it. We fit in so much in the time we were there, in both Sydney and Melbourne and the surrounding areas. It was technically a trip for work, but we managed to make it a vacation to remember.

Sydney was such an amazing city where we always felt safe and welcome. The people were all so eager to be of assistance to our needs. We ate many of the local foods and delicacies and I even tried Vegemite (one of the Australian food staples). We were told that the Aussies love to see the facial expression of tourists when they try it for the first time. I certainly had a facial expression of my own when I tried it- and my hubby can verify that! Anyway, I can say that I tried it and who knows, maybe one day I might even develop a taste for it. ;-)

Sydney is beautiful whether its daytime or nighttime. The weather was amazing, even though it was technically winter time there. We wore Spring and Summer attire most times and only needed a light jacket on the cooler or windier days.
